Alicia’s work is in a constant process of transformation that aims at addressing resistance and subversion from different approaches that allow for new perceptions of subjectivity, the body, identities and desire. At the same time, her aim is to engage in different forms of dissemination, from writing, to research, curatorships and the experimentation of bodies and relations.
Her approach is transdisciplinary with a strong focus on psychoanalysis, philosophy and politics.
Her work has been published in several high-impact editorials and scientific journals, and has been invited to different international and national institutions and congresses. She has also collaborated with different institutions such as Centro de Cultura Contemporánea Conde Duque (Curatorship: La Muerte de la Lectora, 2023), Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico (Epílogo, Ternura y Derrota, 2021), Fundación KBR Mapfre, Raum 404 (Germany) (Curatorship: Visiones queer psicotropicales 2018) among others.
Alicia currently holds a postdoctoral scholarship at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and develops her research at Universitat de Barcelona. She is also working in different shared projects with other writers and artists.
