Asturian by heritage, raised between the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, I navigate photography as a way to make sense of displacement and hybridity. My work explores the psychological landscape of uprootedness, the complexity of identity, and subtle patterns of human behavior shaped by geography, culture, and memory.
Trained in journalism and image-making, I blend documentary strategies with conceptual framing to trace the fragile intersections between the personal and political. My practice draws from lived experience and observation — translating fragmented spaces, gestures, and atmospheres into quiet narratives about belonging and dislocation. Having studied at EFTI, ECAM, and PHotoESPAÑA’s Project Master, and with formative time at Isabel Muñoz’s studio and Spain’s Leica Gallery, I move between still and moving images. I am especially interested in how evolving formats — from analog processes to NFTs — challenge the traditional boundaries of photographic storytelling.
Selected for PHotoESPAÑA’s first NFT-format virtual exhibition, a pioneering project in contemporary Spanish photography.
